Finally indexed

Yep, this vineri triskaideka blog is finally in Google's index. The crawl date was 21 Jun 2007 16:40:05 GMT, but datacenters only picked it up on the 22nd June. Anyway, I think it's kinda good that it got crawled exactly one day after I put it online.
I'm not very excited , at the moment, about my current ranking. After being indexed, G landed me and my vineri triskaideka blog on the second place, just behind Carnacior's page.
So for now the top 3 is like this :
1 - Carnacior
2 - Tupeu
3 - Netrakid
Well, to comment my current position, I'm second but I didn't really do anything for vineri triskaiddeka, so I guess the competition is as lazy as I am for now.
As a response for Carnocior, man, I only chose blogger for my vineri triskaideka entry because of it's stability ( it's hosted on Google's servers ), because of the US ip and because it's very easy to create and edit vineri triskaideka articles.
To Netrakid, keep working on that english, and good luck to everybody in the vineri triskaideka contest.

Contest prizes

Only the second day of the contest, a few more vineri triskaideka in Google's index, but I'm still waiting for Big G's visit.
I guess it's time to present the contest prizes. Well, nothing spectacular here I must say.
The first place holder at the end of the contest period ( 20th October ) will get 3 very nice scripts. First, Article Submitter, a little program that does exactly what it's name says, it automatically submits your articles to 600 article directories ( or so it claims ). I must admit I could use this one on vineri triskaideka :)
Secondly, Website Submitter is a little semi-automatic submitting program. Again, kinda useful, but not very much :) And finally, Website Popularity, a little tool that gives you some info about your website, as well as it's ranking in SE's.
Places 2 and 3 will get some scripts, e-books and some tutorials.
There's a little vineri triskaideka prize that made Tupeu laugh a little.. The organisers are also willing to do SEO for the top place holders of a SEO contest. Kinda weird huh ? :)
There might also be some Vineri triskaideka surprize prizes along the way, but I wouldn't hold my breath for them.

First results

Well, it seems that the first vineri triskaideka websites have started to come up in Google's pages. For now, there are just 3 individual domains that pop up for the vineri triskaideka query. One of them is a blog of mine, that I used to compete in a former seo contest, chml srucnoc, but I won't be directly using it for this contest, another is a fellow blogger , with his vineri triskaideka entry, and last but not least a guy with some online radios. Good enough for the first day :)
Just for the fun of it, Yahoo only got one vineri triskaideka result, a phpbb page, which I used to track the vineritriskaideka.blogspot blog as belonging to Netrakid ( btw, mate, you really need to work on that english of yours :) ). Anyway, good luck to everybody that has registered or is planing to enter the contest. Tupeu out !

And triskaideka means

Oops, seems like i've missed it the first time. Triskaideka means "13" in greek ( kinda weird language huh ? :) ), so the overall contest name would translate like "Friday 13th". I don't know about you guys, but I don't care that much about all those stuff ( I even have a shirt with 13 on the back, and I think it's goodluck ) , and hope I'll get a good place at the end of the contest.

Vineri triskaideka has started

It's official. The Vineri triskaideka contest has started just a few hours ago ! As a webarea member and moderator, I wanted to join as soon as I found out about it, so here I am.
For now, it's not very clear to me what "Vineri triskaideka" actually means, I can just tell you that Vineri means friday in english. The second term is currently a mistery to me, but I'll be back later with the explanation.. Unleast I hope so :)
Hopefully there will be a little bit of competition ( I was a little upset when I saw that someone alse had already registered the Vineri triskaideka blogs here at blogger, but I made up this name with tupeu in it. Hope it works ) , and 4 months from now, a lot of people will be waiting to see who will win the big prize.. Well not so big actually :D
